The model was developed using design drawings of the actual KTX-Sancheon.

Material from a key component associated with the KTX-Sancheon has been incorporated into the model, adding both historical significance and symbolic value. More specifically, material from an actual KTX-Sancheon power stack, a core component of the high-speed train’s traction power conversion system, was melted down, processed, and reused in the production of this precision scale model.
